Romantic Escape at Hardwick Hall
peaceful escape large room delicious food
The location provided a peaceful escape. Our Premier Room was very large. The bed was comfortable and large. I was happy to find complimentary water in our room. Dining in the lounge was an absolute treat with delicious food.
The hotel had carpets that seemed old and worn. Cleanliness was below my expectations.

superb stay
roll-top bath walk-in shower huge bedroom helpful staff
The room had a roll-top bath plus a separate walk-in shower i loved that. The bedroom itself was huge it included a sofa and chairs. Soft furnishings were throughout the room i found it very comfortable. I found the staff smartly dressed and helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble.
My room was located near reception it did get rather noisy at times.

I dined in the rib room one evening i found it good. I enjoyed a steak dinner there, it was cooked to perfection. The service was efficient, the staff provided great service to every guest.

underwhelming stay with some issues
cold room cracked sink
I was disappointed with several aspects. our room was quite cold when we arrived. also, the bathroom sink had a noticeable crack. breakfast service was lacking. They ran out of eggs and hash browns. the seats in the bar were all reserved, limiting seating options.
